Marvin and his father David Berglas were amongst the celebrity audience invited to Derren Brown’s TV special “The Gathering”.

Other celebrities such as TV chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and Jonathan Ross were whisked off onto a magical mystery tour in blacked out coaches – before discovering that the secret location was the climax of Derren’s predictions.

Since 1987 Marvin’s Magic shops in Hamleys and Harrods have been magnets to scores of young magician demonstrators recognising the invaluable experience to be gained for careers in magic.

Interestingly both Derren Browns’ producer Anthony Owen and Magical Advisor Anthony Nyman were past Marvin’s Magic demonstrators.

Marvin’s past demonstration team now reads like a who’s who of British Magic, including Stephen Mulhern, Marc Paul, Nick Einhorn, Danny Buckler, Jonathon Goodwin and Guy Hollingsworth to name just a few.
